Cooking Up A Storm...
Spatulas ready; Hurst House Cookery School is back in class under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Martin Blunos. See Martin hosting special cooking demonstrations – exhibiting his inimitable culinary flair – and passing on tips and tricks for making the most of the home grown goodness at his fingertips. With a career that encompasses two Michelin stars; an award-winning restaurant and much TV experience, Martin’s menus are inspired by the hotel’s lovingly tended organic kitchen gardens.
On the first night guests will be treated to a welcome dinner in our private dining room hosted by Martin. The next morning begins with a hugely informative tour of the gardens with Head Gardener & Horticulturalist David Butt; followed by a full on cookery demonstration by Martin prior to and after lunch. An action-packed fun food and wine session and afternoon tea leaves just enough time to relax in the spa before a gourmet dinner with specially selected wines in the restaurant.
